We All Have A Story To Create.... Whose Story Are You Living?

The Beginning
Before I became an Emotional Freedom Advocate, speaker, and guide, I was the woman who wore many hats. For over twelve years, I helped lead our family business while raising my beautiful family of four children. I held space for everyone else’s needs, always showing up as the strong one, steady, dependable, and driven.
But beneath the surface, I was quietly carrying an emotional weight I couldn’t yet name. I knew how to work hard. I knew how to care for others. But I didn’t know how to truly care for myself. I didn’t yet understand what it meant to live with emotional, energetic, or spiritual freedom.
After leaving the family business, I stepped into network marketing with drive, hope, and a belief that achievement and recognition would finally bring the fulfilment I was craving. I was hungry for purpose, for a sense of being seen, and for a new path forward. But when the lights dimmed after each event, I realised the applause couldn’t fill the emptiness I still felt inside.
What I had spent years carrying beneath the surface began to rise. Even surrounded by people, I often felt deeply alone. I kept believing that if I just pushed a little harder, something would eventually shift. What I didn’t realise then was that the pain wasn’t meant to be outrun, it was asking to be acknowledged.
If you know what it feels like to keep going while something inside you quietly asks for more, you’re not broken. You’re listening. And that inner nudge, the one I had pushed down again and again, eventually became impossible to ignore. That was the beginning of everything changing.
The Dramatic Shift
The shift didn’t arrive in one defining moment. It came through a thousand quiet truths that refused to stay buried.
It was the growing weight of what I could no longer push down. The realisation that no title, incentive, or external validation could heal what was hurting within. It was the stillness that followed the striving — the moment I finally had no choice but to feel.
Over the next nine years, I began an inward journey that took me to places I didn’t know existed. Layer by layer, I peeled back what had been protecting me, meeting myself fully for the first time.
April 2024 marked a turning point I could no longer ignore.
During a retreat in Bali, something extraordinary happened. Lightning quite literally struck, and in that moment, something deeper awakened. What landed wasn’t fear or shock, but clarity. I saw with absolute knowing that emotional freedom is not something we achieve. It is something we remember.
A return to the truth beneath the pain.
The peace beneath the protection.
The power beneath the patterns.
I met the little girl inside me who had learned to stay quiet to stay safe. I saw the generational stories I had been carrying that were never mine to hold. And I made a conscious choice to stop performing strength and start embodying truth.
That was the moment I stopped running, and began returning to myself.
The Transformation
What began as an inward search for healing slowly became the foundation for everything I now stand for. Through deep, uncomfortable, and ultimately liberating inner work, I discovered that emotional freedom isn’t about fixing yourself, it’s about remembering who you were before the world taught you to disconnect.
As I released the emotional weight, the inherited stories, and the survival patterns that once shaped my life, something essential returned. I found my voice. Not the voice driven by fear, perfection, or performance, but the one that speaks from my core, with softness, certainty, and truth.
I stopped abandoning myself to meet the expectations of others. I learned how to sit with discomfort without being consumed by it. And in doing so, I began to live from a place of grounded presence rather than survival.
This transformation didn’t happen by accident. It was anchored through devotion to daily rituals, the quiet, consistent practices that brought me back to myself again and again. They became my grounding, my regulation, my return. Looking back now, I often wonder how I navigated life before these anchors existed.
From this lived experience, the work I offer today was born.
I now guide others through tools and practices that are not theoretical, but embodied, shaped by experience, integrity, and deep listening. I don’t teach alignment as an idea; I live it. To me, true power is an inner knowing, a felt sense of peace in the body that becomes the foundation for everything else.
I’ve stood on global stages. I’ve spoken words I once couldn’t admit even to myself. I’ve held space for hundreds to return home to who they are. And I’ve become the woman I once needed, and the guide I was always becoming.
This is not just my transformation. It is a reminder of what becomes possible when you choose to meet yourself fully, feel what’s been waiting, and rise, on your own terms.
What Emerged
As this work deepened, so did its reach.
I was invited to share this message on global stages, becoming a TEDx and SPEAK speaker, and speaking internationally on emotional freedom, realness, and soul-led leadership. My voice, once shaped by survival, became a vehicle for truth, connection, and change.
Alongside this, I became the award-winning host of the Radiate Realness podcast and the creator and host of Emotional Freedom Live, holding spaces where emotional truth, presence, and lived experience are honoured. Through honest conversation and shared humanity, these platforms have become homes for those seeking depth, clarity, and emotional liberation.
My journey has also been woven into words, as a best-selling and award-winning author of the Unstoppable Stories anthologies, a body of work devoted to creating space for others to discover the power that has always lived within them. These stories honour resilience, amplify unheard voices, and remind us of what becomes possible when we choose to rise from within.
As the Ireland Lead for the Mental Health & Wellbeing Network and Awards, I support the amplification of initiatives, leaders, and conversations committed to real, human-centred change, helping to shape spaces where wellbeing is lived, embodied, and prioritised at every level.
Along the way, I became an energy healer and inner child therapist, and qualified in suicide prevention and addiction support, not as separate paths, but as natural extensions of the same calling. Each modality, each training, each moment of confusion became part of a wider remembering.
What once felt fragmented now stands in deep alignment. Every step of the journey that once felt unclear is now bursting with clarity and purpose, woven together through lived experience, integrity, and an unwavering devotion to emotional freedom.
None of this was chased. It emerged as a natural expression of choosing truth over performance, embodiment over image, and healing over expectation.
